Building a Legacy of Hope
Leaving a Legacy of Faith, Hope and Love
Every day, people walk through the front doors of Cathedral of Hope and pass the plaque honoring members of the Bell Wall Society. For many, it is a quiet moment that is easy to miss. But this plaque tells a much larger story about hope, gratitude, and the kind of faith that believes love can outlive us.
The Bell Wall Society is made up of people who have chosen to include Cathedral of Hope in their estate plans. Some have done this through a simple bequest in a will, while others have designated retirement accounts, life insurance policies, or other planned gifts. These gifts help ensure that Cathedral of Hope will continue proclaiming Christ through faith, hope, and love for generations to come.
Recently during worship, Casey Gundlach shared about the profound impact Cathedral of Hope has had on his life and why he and his husband chose to become part of the Bell Wall Society. He spoke about finding community, friendship, spiritual growth, and support through life’s joys and challenges. He also reminded us that legacy giving is ultimately about investing in the things that matter most.
Planned giving is not only for the wealthy. It is one of the most meaningful ways ordinary people can participate in building a future rooted in compassion, inclusion, justice, and faith. Legacy gifts help sustain ministry long after we are gone, allowing future generations to experience the same extravagant grace and radical welcome that have shaped so many of our lives.
If you would like to learn more about the Bell Wall Society or explore planned giving options, we invite you to reach out to Randal Langdon. And if you do not yet have a will, Cathedral of Hope offers a free and simple way to create one through FreeWill. It is an opportunity to care for the people and causes you love while helping build a future grounded in hope.
