  • Let's Talk About Progressive Christianity | Wednesdays | 11/5 - 12/17 | 7:00pm-8:30pm

    Wednesdays | November 5 - December 17 | 7:00pm-8:30pm

What do we mean when we say, "Progressive Christianity?" What does it look like for us to be "progressive Christians" at our beloved Cathedral of Hope? For many of us, we arrive at the Cathedral of Hope from varied religious and spiritual backgrounds including more conservative and evangelical backgrounds.

This class, Let’s Talk About Progressive Christianity, is a foundational look at some of the basic tenets that are widely accepted by progressive Christians.

We will explore topics such as the Bible, other religions, Jesus, love and compassion, justice and peace, questioning, inclusivity, and advocacy. And please know this, progressive Christians practice these ideas much differently than you may be accustomed to. This class is designed for those who are new to Cathedral of Hope or those who may want to deepen their spiritual journey by examining what it means to truly be a progressive Christian.

  • Longest Night Worship Service | 12/21/25 | 5:30pm

    Sunday, December 21, 2025 | 5:30pm

Longest Night Service: A Service of Reflection and Hope

Not everyone experiences Christmas as a season of celebration. This contemplative service is designed for those who are struggling, grieving, or simply tired. In a quiet, prayerful setting, we will acknowledge the darkness and hold space for hope, trusting that God’s presence remains with us through every long night. All are welcome.

Blessing Bags

Next assembly date/time to be announced

Have you ever driven past a person in need and wondered what you could do to help? A blessing bag is a small assortment of basic toiletries and snacks in a sealable plastic bag. Keep one or two in your car to have on hand!

Several times a year, we gather to create blessing bags for our neighbors in need. We’ll provide the items. You provide the people power. All ages welcome! You can pick up Blessing Bags to distributed on designated Blessing Bag Sundays or by calling the church office.
