Moment of Hope: A Place Where Community Gathers
A Place Where Community Gathers
This month alone, Cathedral of Hope will host more than 205 gatherings across our campus. From worship services and life groups to recovery meetings, community organizations, and fellowship events, our building continues to be a place where people gather for connection, support, celebration, and healing.
This week, 22 young adults gathered for the second meeting of The Hope Assembly, a new space for spiritual support and community for people ages 18–35. Several who attended had never been to Cathedral of Hope before, but found a place of welcome and belonging.
We were also honored to open our doors for a memorial service for a member of the Turtle Creek Chorale whose loved ones lacked the resources for a service elsewhere. For decades, Cathedral of Hope has been a place where people come when they need community most, and this week was another reminder that sacred spaces matter.
Alongside partners like the Dallas Bears, the United Court, and the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, our campus continues to be more than a church building. It is a gathering place for hope, healing, advocacy, spirituality, and community throughout the week.
Moments of Hope are weekly glimpses into the ministry and community life happening through Cathedral of Hope beyond Sunday morning. Each week, we’ll share stories, milestones, and impact moments that reflect how hope, healing, justice, compassion, and connection are taking shape across our congregation and community.
Sometimes these Moments of Hope will celebrate measurable impact, like meals shared or first-time visitors welcomed. Other times, they will highlight quiet acts of care, community partnerships, or stories of people finding belonging and support.
