Eligible members who cannot be present for the vote at a congregational meeting may submit an absentee ballot. Absentee ballots will be given to any eligible member upon request by that member.
Any eligible voting member may cast a vote by absentee ballot for (a) any positions nominated by the Nominations Committee and (b) any agenda item that is not subject to amendment at the meeting at which the vote is to be taken. If an agenda item is amended at the meeting, that part of the absentee ballot will become void.
- Record your vote on the ballot. To preserve anonymity, do not put your name on the ballot.
- Fold the ballot and place the ballot in an envelope and seal the envelope. Sign and print your name on the envelope. The signature is your authentication and the printed version allows us to read and verify your name.
- Place the sealed envelope in an outer envelope to be mailed or delivered to the church office to the attention of Absentee Ballot Processing. Absentee ballots should be received at the church office no later than Wednesday, March 11, 2020.
