Rich Dudley

Associate Pastor

Rich Dudley joined Cathedral of Hope as a congregant in 2015 and quickly became active in the life and leadership of the church. Over the years, he has served on numerous church committees, the Board of Stewards, and in Lay Ministry, including five years as its coordinator.

Following nearly forty years in nursing and healthcare leadership, and with a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration from Texas Woman's University, Rich pursued a new chapter in his calling to ministry. He earned his Master of Divinity degree from Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University in 2026, graduating summa cum laude. During his studies, he received several academic honors, including awards for excellence in biblical studies, theology, and exemplifying the mission of the school and the church.

Rich joined the clergy staff at Cathedral of Hope as Associate Pastor following his graduation in 2026. His primary areas of ministry include congregational care, worship planning, teaching, and sacramental practices.

Outside of ministry, Rich enjoys spending time with his husband, especially when they can find an excuse to escape to the beach or go scuba diving. At home, their two saltwater aquariums keep them connected to the ocean and its remarkable marine life.
